Grain Drying
To prevent spoilage, high volumes of moderate temperature air are used to remove moisture from agricultural products before and during storage. Available for both portable and permanent installation, grain dryers use various fan designs coupled with heaters to provide warm, dry air. The dryers can be rotary drum, gravity flow, or batch type. On the farm, grain dryers are attached to the storage bins for circulating dry air through the product. Efficiency, size, weight, cost, and electrical requirements are all factors in the selection of the optimal fan.
