Clean Rooms
Clean room applications require not only ultra filtration of supply air, but also pressurization of the space to be controlled to prevent infiltration. Medical, pharmaceutical, and IT production facility clean rooms utilize HEPA filters with three or even four stages of filtration. This level of filtration creates a significant pressure drop requiring fans capable of generating higher pressures than those found in ordinary HVAC applications.
